A promotion run by Google hints that shipping of two upcoming models i.e. Nexus 5X and could start from October 25th.

The promotion says those who order Nexus from Google Store before October 25th will earn a $50 Google Play credit once the phone ships.

Even though this promo appears to entice consumers to pre-order Nexus, it also makes sense that the end date of the promotion is close to initial shipping date.

Google store now accepts pre-order for Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P.

Nexus 5X is the third Nexus mobile built by LG, after Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, and is available in Carbon, Quartz, and Ice. The cost of the 16 GB model is $379 while a 32GB model will cost $429. Nexus Protect insurance for this phone is $69.

This phone will be available in three to four weeks, which coincide well with rumored October 25th shipping date.

The Nexus 6P will be the first Nexus handset from Huawei and is available in Aluminum and Graphite. You will have to pay $499 for a 32 GB model while 64GB model will cost you $549. 128GB version of this phone is available at $649.

The Google store says 32GB Nexus 6P will be available in the next four to five weeks while the other two models may take a bit more than that. But all the dates are in terms with Google’s announcement that these phones will come out at the end of October.

The cost of Nexus Protect plan for this model is $89.
