Slow Internet speed will not be an issue anymore because Google has started working on the extension of its optical fiber service named which promises internet speed up to 1000MB/Sec. The tech giant has started laying thousands of brand new optical fiber across select cities of the US.

Google first launched its Fiber services in December 2012, to provide internet service to the metropolitan area of Kansas City. According to one estimate, there were more than 120,000 customers of Google fiber at the end of Oct. 2015. Currently, this service is available to the clients of select US cities only.

You can request this technology to Google if you are a US resident. They will come to your street and start working on the installation of optical fiber near your vicinity. Until now Google fiber is available in Kansas City, Provo and Austin. Google is working to expand it to other US cities.
Google charges $130/month for Gigabit TV and $70/month for Gigabit Internet. You can have access to basic internet facilities for free up to 7 years, just pay the construction fees of $300 first.
There are many companies that provide their customers with the fiber technology. In Pakistan Fiber service is slowly gaining grounds and is available in some areas of the country. Nayatel, StormFiber and Fiberlink are some of the companies providing this service in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Karachi.
It’s just that it’s never going to come to Pakistan.
